Adlet – Interactive Ride-Share Advertising Platform
Role: Technical Product Manager (Contract)
Timeline: Jun 2023 – Apr 2024
Adlet is an interactive advertising platform built for ride-sharing vehicles. It transforms passive outdoor ads into personalized, trackable, and engaging experiences by placing tablets inside cars where passengers can watch, play, and interact with ads. This model benefits all parties — brands get measurable impact, passengers get entertainment and rewards, and drivers earn additional income.
- Problem:
- Digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising wasted billions annually, with over 56% of ad impressions never seen by consumers.
- Brands couldn’t track or optimize outdoor ad performance.
- Billboards and static ads lacked interaction and cultural connection with consumers.
- Solution:
- Launched the MVP with 30 ride-share taxis for 1 month, testing real-world adoption and engagement.
- Designed a platform for brands to run video, static, in-game, and interactive ads, targeted by age, gender, location, and time.
- Added reward mechanics for passengers (discounts, free rides, prizes) to drive engagement.
- Introduced analytics dashboards so advertisers could track viewability, CTR, and brand association in real time.
- Impact:
- MVP achieved 5 hours of average engagement time per tablet per day.
- 70% of passengers interacted with the tablets, while 95% noticed and watched ads during their rides.
- Generated early traction with 20+ advertisers, reaching $10K MRR.
- Set the foundation for scaling to 2000+ cars, 60M monthly impressions, and $1M ARR target within 18 months.
Skills applied: Backlog creation & management, Agile delivery, UX optimization, A/B testing, product strategy, user acquisition experiments, cross-functional team leadership.
