Abroadventure – Recruitment Platform for NGOs & Youth Exchanges

I co-founded Abroadventure, a platform connecting NGOs with young people seeking Erasmus+, ESC, and other international exchange opportunities. Our goal was to make mobility programs more accessible and transparent while helping organizations recruit motivated participants.

• Problem:
  • NGOs struggled to reach and recruit international volunteers efficiently.
  • Young people lacked a centralized, trustworthy platform to discover mobility opportunities.
  • Application and matching processes were fragmented and manual.
• Solution:
  • Built a recruitment platform that streamlined how NGOs published opportunities and managed applicants.
  • Designed user-friendly application flows, providing clear program details and timelines.
  • Partnered with international NGOs and youth organizations to validate needs and onboard early adopters.
  • Introduced workshops and training modules to prepare participants for exchange experiences.
• Impact:
  • Connected hundreds of youth to Erasmus+ and ESC programs across Europe.
  • Helped NGOs fill opportunities faster with higher-quality applicants.
  • Facilitated workshops and trainings for 20+ participants per cohort, building soft skills, digital literacy, and cultural readiness.

Skills applied: Venture building, product strategy, stakeholder engagement, UX design (Figma), recruitment operations, and non-formal education facilitation.
